Mr. Kimathi is a Senior Partner and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Banking & Finance

Preparation, facilitation, management and perfection of banking securities of various financial institutions. In particular, we are engaged in drafting of financing and refinancing agreements, drafting and standardization of banking documentation and forms and making regulatory applications, drafting of securities such as debentures, charges, guarantees and liens, preparation of standard form documentation for banks and other financial institutions, asset financing, etc


Corporate & Commercial Law

Drafting of commercial contracts of all kinds and providing commercial legal advice to businesses, purchase and sale of businesses and shares and other securities and related transaction advisory services, including advice on competition laws, franchise agreements, including all documents necessary to establish a new franchise, incorporation of companies, registration of foreign companies in Kenya, registration of non-governmental organizations, partnerships and limited liability partnerships, advisory and drafting services on all areas on securities law, advisory and drafting services for joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and all forms of corporate actions, Company secretarial services and commercial litigation.


Real Estate

Advisory services on changes in land laws, new land registry procedures and advising clients generally on all aspects of land law, joint ventures, leases (land and buildings, residential, commercial, agricultural and other uses), preparation of licenses, cautions, prohibitions and easements, powers of attorney, transfer of land (purchase and sales), trusts relating to land, wills, probate and related matters.
